Awesome coffee, al fresco dining, local student and emerging artist exhibitions and a great menu showcasing local and organic produce – all in a fantastic industrial setting – Blue Café Bar is the place for breakfast and lunch 7 days and dinner 2 nights a week. A bar and snack menu is available from 3pm.

Situated in Launceston’s vibrant Inveresk Precinct just adjacent to the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery and UTAS Academy of Arts in a converted tram pay station, and with loads of parking, this funky café, bar and restaurant provides the perfect spot for an afternoon meeting or your next function.

Reflecting seasonally available produce, and sourcing from local, organic and free-range producers, the Blue Café Bar menu is a constantly evolving selection catering to all tastes.

A wood-fired pizza feeds our extensive pizza list - be sure to check out the $14 pizza nights on Wednesday – we’d love to see you here.

Our comprehensive wine list is built around an array of Tasmanian wines, with a number of selected mainland reds thrown in for good measure.

We are happy to accommodate all your needs – and can cater up to 60 seated or 150 standing. Weddings; birthdays; engagement parties; corporate breakfasts, lunches, and dinners – no occasion is too difficult for the Blue Crew. We even out-cater!
